Is there a way to actually track a missing/stolen laptop?
Sure you can track your stolen or missing laptop especially of the lap is running on window 11. For you to be able to track the laptop, you will need to know how to turn on the location as will as find my device on your laptop. If you dont know how to do this, i will recommend my answer to “How to enable location and device tracking for your laptop running on window 11”
Now to track your laptop, i will assume you have read the answer to the above question.
1. Once your location and find my device turned on, you will now be able to track your device and know its location. To do this you will have to use the microsoft website and you need to log in with the same username and password you used on your Windows device.
2.Once logged in you will see your PC listed here. There is a tab “Find my device”. Click on this and Microsoft location services will detect the location of your laptop.
3. You can also see an option to Lock your laptop, this will log you out of the current session and the Windows 11 PC will be locked.
