I have not used my Adsense account for almost 2 years now, can it still be active if I use it on a new website i created recently. How do I check if it’s still valid. Note is a US Adsense account

Yes you can still make use of it, as long as the account is active. Login to the account and copy the code for your site to your new site, However before ads will start displaying, google will have to review the site and it met up with their policy requirement then your ads will start to display.
