Apple is gearing up to launch a brand new version of the iPad Pro in 2024, and recent reports shed light on an exciting update – a more laptop-like keyboard. According to renowned Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman in his Power On newsletter, Apple’s upcoming iPad Pro will be accompanied by a keyboard with an aluminum top case, reminiscent of the sleek design found in Apple MacBooks.
This shift to an aluminum keyboard not only promises a refined aesthetic but also enhances the keyboard’s durability. It’s important to note that this change applies solely to the area surrounding the keyboard, while the exterior material of the keyboard will remain consistent with the current model. Additionally, the keyboard will retain its convenient USB-C port.
In our previous report, we mentioned that the new iPad Pro is expected to come in both 11- and 13-inch sizes. These models, known by their code names J717, J718, J720, and J721, will all be equipped with M3 chips and feature OLED displays – the same cutting-edge display technology introduced in the iPhone X back in 2017.
